It does not require attic access and has a ceiling opening size requirement of 9 x 9 inches. If your existing fan size is different, you may need to resize the ceiling opening.

The SNP100 is super quiet with a powerful 100 CFM capacity, suitable for bathrooms up to 100 square feet. Installation is easy with no attic access required, and the fan comes with a detachable 4-inch polymeric duct with a backdraft prevention damper for efficient ducting. The fan housing is made of rugged 26 GA galvanized steel to prevent rusting, and the fan is designed for universal installation in various construction types. The fan boasts a 100 CFM air delivery rate and a noise level of 0.8 sones. The duct size is 4 inches round, and the fan comes with a built-in backdraft metal damper. The grille dimensions are 11 13/16 x 11 7/16 inches, and the housing dimensions are 9 x 9 x 5 3/4 inches.

For retrofit installation, follow these steps: 1. Disassemble the fan by unplugging the blower assembly power connector, removing the blower assembly, junction box/wire panel, and duct connector. 2. Prepare the ceiling opening to 9x9 inches and install additional wood support beams for securing the metal housing. 3. Install the housing by pulling wiring and duct into the metal housing and inserting it into the ceiling opening. 4. Connect the ducting and wiring by securing the housing flange, connecting the wiring according to the diagram, and re-installing the wire panel. 5. Finish up by inserting the blower assembly back into the housing, connecting the power cable, and installing the grille.
