Product Description

The compression tester kit is designed for detecting car maintenance issues, with a measuring range of 0 ~ 300 MPa. The type of Precision Pressure Gauge features a nominal diameter of 70 mm and comes in a toolbox measuring 30 x 20 x 5 cm, with a weight of 0.95 kg.

Product Instructions

1. Start the engine and let it reach normal operating temperature (cooling water temperature 70-90°C).
2. Turn off the engine, remove any debris around the spark plugs and take out all spark plugs.
3. Open the throttle and choke fully.
4. Insert the tapered rubber joint of the cylinder pressure gauge into the spark plug bore of the test cylinder (or screw the threaded pipe connection onto the spark plug bore).
5. Use the starter to rotate the crankshaft for 3-5 seconds (at least four compression strokes), take a stable reading, and then reset the pointer to zero.
6. Repeat step 5 for each cylinder, with at least two measurements per cylinder and taking the average of the readings.
7. Test each cylinder individually using the above method.
